Too Good to Be True?
Your guide to recognizing and avoiding frauds
Be Alert to Scams and Fraud
Fraud and scams are unfortunately common across the internet — and as technology advances, so do the methods of criminals. In the creator economy, where online collaboration and digital payments are the norm, it’s easier than ever for fraudsters to target individuals and businesses.
At achwale.com, our mission is to build a safe, transparent, and verified ecosystem connecting Brands, Creators, and Partners. But security is a shared responsibility — and staying alert is the best way to stay safe.
Understanding the Threat
Fraudsters often invest time researching their targets. They collect public information, study your online presence, and then approach you in a convincing and friendly manner. They might act polite, professional, or empathetic — all to gain your trust.
They might even impersonate legitimate companies, including achwale or known brands, to appear credible.
Common Tactics Used by Fraudsters
Phishing & Fake Websites
Fraudsters may create fake websites or landing pages that look identical to achwale.com, designed to steal your personal or banking details. They might share these links via email, WhatsApp, or Telegram under the pretext of “brand registration” or “campaign approval.”
Be alert:
Only trust links that begin with https://www.achwale.com. Avoid clicking links shared on social media or messages unless verified.
Impersonation of achwale Employees or Partners
Fraudsters might claim to be from achwale's 'Campaign Team' or 'Creator Onboarding Team,' using fake IDs or names of real employees. Sometimes they even use deepfake voice or video to sound legitimate.
achwale never:
Asks for payments over WhatsApp or personal accounts. Uses free webmail addresses (like Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo). Sends job or campaign offers via random social media accounts.
✅ Verified Communication:
All official emails come from @achwale.com. All verified Partner and Brand communications happen within the platform.
Fake Campaign or Collaboration Offers
Scammers may approach creators with fake 'brand campaigns' or 'ambassador programs' and ask for small 'verification' or 'security' deposits.
Be alert:
achwale never asks for upfront payments to participate in campaigns. Campaigns and payouts are managed only through your verified dashboard.
Fake or Manipulated Payment Requests
Fraudsters may send you fake invoices or payment links claiming to be achwale or an achwale brand partner.
✅ Verified Communication:
achwale payments are processed securely inside the platform through verified payment gateways only.
Red flags include:
Payments requested to personal bank accounts or wallets (like Paytm, GPay, PhonePe). Requests for “extra fees” to unlock funds, process campaigns, or verify profiles.
Social Media Scams
Fraudsters often set up fake pages or profiles using the achwale name and logo. They may message you about “instant campaigns,” “training opportunities,” or “earnings guarantees.”
Be cautious if:
The account is not verified or lacks professional details. You are asked to download an app or pay to join a campaign. The user promises “guaranteed earnings” or “quick collaboration access.”
💡Tip:
achwale’s verified social handles are listed on our official website.
Time Pressure & Urgent Promises
Fraudsters create urgency to push you into quick action with claims like 'Limited-time campaign — register in 15 minutes!'. You might hear things like: “Limited-time campaign — register in 15 minutes!”. “If you don’t pay today, you’ll lose your spot!”
Remember:
Authentic opportunities never require rush decisions or secret payments.
Social Engineering & Spoofing
Fraudsters use psychological tactics to manipulate your emotions, trust, or fear to make you share personal or financial information. They may also use “spoofing”, where messages or calls appear to come from official numbers or emails.
achwale never:
achwale will never ask for your OTP or password — ever.
Be cautious if:
The number seems genuine but the request feels suspicious. You’re asked for OTPs, passwords, or banking info.

Types of Fraud You Should Know
Investment & 'Crypto Earning' Scams
Fraudsters may claim to represent achwale or partner brands offering “crypto trading,” “stock investment,” or “high ROI campaigns.” They often promise guaranteed returns and may even show fake dashboards or “group chats” of people earning money.
Warning:
Promises of high returns with zero risk. Random messages on WhatsApp or Telegram claiming to be “achwale Partners”. Invitations to “exclusive earning groups” or “trading training programs”.
✅ Assurance:
achwale never deals in crypto, trading, or guaranteed-return investments.
Advance Fee or Verification Fee Fraud
This is when scammers ask you to pay an upfront “fee” to get access to jobs, campaigns, or brand approvals.
Examples include:
“Pay ₹999 to activate your creator profile.”. “Deposit ₹500 to get verified for brand collaboration.”. “Pay tax/commission before withdrawing your campaign payout.”.
✅ Assurance:
achwale never asks for any such payments.
Identity Theft and Account Takeover
Fraudsters collect your personal details (PAN, Aadhaar, DOB, phone numbers) to impersonate you. They may also try to hack your achwale account.
Be alert if:
You receive OTPs or login alerts unexpectedly. Campaigns appear on your dashboard that you didn’t create. You receive bank change notifications you didn’t request.
Protection:
Use strong passwords and never share your OTP or login credentials. Contact security@achwale.com immediately if you suspect unauthorized activity.
Business Email Compromise (BEC) or Payment Diversion
Fraudsters email brands or partners pretending to be from achwale, requesting payment to new 'bank details'.
Be alert if:
Look for: Subtle differences in email addresses. Urgent payment requests with confidentiality clauses. “Reply-to” addresses that don’t match the sender.
Advice:
Always confirm with the official achwale support team before sending any money or changing payment details.
